To provide a key switch capable of decreasing a force to pull out an operation key without a concern for a return defect of a switching mechanism since it has been impossible to decrease the force to pull out the operation key in a conventional structure to secure the return force of the switching mechanism.
In the case of switching on a power-circuit switching switch 50, a cam body 10 is rotated by the press-in of the operation key B and the cam body 10 lifts up a head plunger 40 via a sliding pin 41 inserted in a plunger guide hole 16A and moves a switch operation body 51 upward. In addition, in the case of switching off the power-circuit switching switch 50, the cam body 10 is rotated in a reverse direction by pulling out the operation key B and the head plunger 40 is pressed in by sliding a cam sliding part 42 of the head plunger 40 to the cam surface 19 of a cam 16 and moves the switch operation body 51 downward.
