To provide a key switch in which not only the number of parts is few and which becomes inexpensive, in which assembling characteristics are improved, in which the width dimension of an operation part becomes smaller, and in which rotation of a drive cam by a driver or the like can be prevented.
In a state that lock cams 17, 18 are not pushed by an operation key 60, by means that an engaging part 21D which is a corner part between a circular face part 21A of a lock cam side fitting protruding part 21 and a lock cam side counter projection releasing part 21B is engageably and releasably engaged with a corner part 12R of a drive cam side fitting protruding part 12, the rotation of the drive cam 10 is suppressed, and by means that lock cam side fitting protruding part 21 is rotated by rotation of the lock cams 17, 18 due to pressing of the operation key 60, the engaging is released and the drive cam 10 is made rotatable.
