Abstract:
To provide a key switch capable of carrying out an authentication operation by detecting an operation information pattern, using a key operation through a detection mechanism of the switch body.
The key switch includes a key 6 of a circular column-shape and the switch body 1 provided with a detecting mechanism 9, and an operation information pattern inputted, by operating the circular column-shaped key 6 against an insertion hole 3 formed in the switch body 1 is detected by the detecting mechanism 9, to thereby carry out authentication.
