Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve portability by making portable equipment and a mechanical key compact and to prevent accommodation of a mechanical key into a case from being forgotten, in a key unit formed from the mechanical key and the portable equipment that is configured by incorporating in the case a transmission unit capable of transmitting a radio signal for switching a locked state and an unlocked state of a lock mechanism.SOLUTION: Detection means 45 includes: a mobile member that is displaced by being abutted to a mechanical key 11 within a case 13; and a switch 47 which changes a switching mode in accordance with the displacement of the mobile member 46. Only in the state where the detection means 45 detects an accommodation state of the mechanical key 11, a transmission unit 23 is allowed to be operated. A resilient member 68 for detection that presents a resilient force for energizing the mechanical key 11 accommodated within the case 13 to a side of abutment to the mobile member 46 is mounted on an inner surface of the case 13.
