PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key unit capable of suppressing occurrence of abutting sound.SOLUTION: A key unit 1 includes: a mechanical key 10 having a key plate 11 for locking and unlocking, and a rotor member 13 fixed on one end of the key plate 11; a release button 27 fitted with the rotor member 13 so as to be integrally rotatable and movable in a rotation axis direction; a case 20 for supporting the rotor member 13 with the release button 27 as a rotation center between a storage position and a fully deployed position of the mechanical key 10; an elastic member 28 having one end fixed to the mechanical key 10 and the other end fixed to the case 20 and energizing the release button 27 to an integral rotation direction and the rotation axis direction; and a shock absorbing elastic member 29 provided on the fully deployed position side of the case 20 and applying force in a direction opposite from force of the elastic member 28 before the mechanical key 10 reaches the fully deployed position from the storage position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
