Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key use propriety switching system capable of maintaining a configuration of an electronic key as simple, and also implementing switching from validity to invalidity without inconvenience in the case of switching the validity and the invalidity of the electronic key.SOLUTION: In the case of switching an electronic key 2b in an invalid state to a valid state, an operation part 23 is first operated. The electronic key 2b enters an invalidity preparation state for fixed time when the operation part 23 is operated in the invalid state. In the invalidity preparation state, key use is maintained as impossible, however, a power saving mode is turned off. In this state, a validation instruction is transmitted from a vehicle 1 to the electronic key 2b via smart communication by operating a portable terminal 2a. The electronic key 2b is switched to a valid state when the validation instruction is received from the vehicle 1 by the smart communication in the invalidity preparation state.
