Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drastically reduce manufacturing cost and to almost eliminate the need for adjustment at the time of the fitting of a hammer.
SOLUTION: This musical instrument is equipped with keys 11, hammers 43 which rotate when the keys 11 are pressed to hit struck bodies, actions 20 which transmit the movements of the pressed keys 11 to the hammers 43, sensors which detect the key depression, and a musical sound signal generating means which generates a musical sound signal according to the detection results of the sensors. Each hammer 43 is formed of a hammer shank 43a and a hammer head 43b, and the hammer head 43b is made of metal, resin, or rubber in one body. The hammer head 43b is so formed that the sectional shape crossing the axis of the hammer shank 43a is circular.
