Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kinky thread preventing method and device with more operability capable of preventing the occurrence of kinky thread in yarns pulled out of a yarn feeding package and guided into a yarn ending device during yarn ending.
SOLUTION: In a kinky thread preventing method, a kinky thread preventing lever s11 is put in contact with a yarn feeding package 1 during yarn end breakage before inspiration into a relay pipe is started at a yarn end y1 on the side of the yarn feeding package 1 and, in such a condition, the yarn end on the side of the yarn feeding package 1 is inspired into the relay pipe and the force of the kinky thread preventing lever s11 holding the yarn feeding package 1 is enough not to pull yarns out of the yarn feeding package 1 with the inspiring force of the relay pipe 10. In this way, the length of waste yarns inspired into the relay pipe can be reduced.
