1511323 Oxidation of metal sulphides CYPRUS METALLURGICAL PROCESSES CORP 23 June 1975 [28 June 1974] 26504/75 Heading C1A [Also in Division C7] Sulphides of metals of Groups Ib, IIb, IVa, Va or VIII are leached with an aqueous medium at a temperature wherein the sulphide is oxidised to elemental S, and metal values are solubilized, the leach reaction being effected in the presence of at least 2% by weight of activated C based on that of the metal sulphide.
