Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a self-propelled service wagon which can move at low speeds suited to the walking speed of a worker and move even on an uphill slope or stairs. CONSTITUTION:A self-propelled service wagon is formed by providing wheels 2 which are driven by a motor 81 to a vehicle body 1 which contains many food trays. The food service wagon uses an AC servo motor whose revolution is controlled in accordance with the frequency of electric current applied and which increases voltage with a decrease in the frequency as the motor 81. The motor 81 provides a high torque even at a low revolution and can operate the wagon at low speed and even on an uphill slope or stairs.
