PURPOSE: To increase the efficiency of kitchen operations by providing a counter including a sink with a second sink shallower than the sink, and providing a serving space at the depths of both sinks.

CONSTITUTION: An opening 6d for a cooktop is provided in the left part of a counter 6 integrally formed out of stainless plates. A first sink 12 having a depth of about 200 mm suited for washing dishes and foods is provided in the right part of the counter 6. A second sink 13 having a shallow depth of about 50 mm is provided between the opening 6d and the sink 12. A serving space 11 is provided on the counter 6 at the depths of the sinks 12, 13 and openings 11a, 11b, 11c for fitting containers therein are provided in the serving space 11.
