To provide a sink which can hold a plate put on the sink so that the plate would not slide casually when used.

The sink is made up of the following parts: A ledge 7 is formed at least on upper edges of a front and a back walls 4a, 4b in the sink 4. The plate 8 can be supported on the sink by putting the front and back ends of the plate on the ledge 7. A dented part 6, which recesses, is made at a part of the back wall 4b of the sink 4, and a tray 12, which keeps detergent bottles, is equipped in the dented part 6 so as to be freely attachable and removable. A regulating means 19, which prevents the plate 8 put on the sink 4 from sliding either to the right or left, is made on the front end of the tray 12.
