PURPOSE: To provide a cooking unit which will not hinder the path of flow of a work extending from a hot plate portion to a sink cabinet at the time of cooking on a hot plate using seasonings.

CONSTITUTION: A seasoning case 8 is fitted to a front plate 7 of a drawer body 6 which a floor cabinet 5 has, and the drawer body 6 can freely be drawn out by rails 9 having locking means 10a, 10b in such a manner as to be locked in a position where the drawer body is opened for a depth S of the seasoning case 8. As the drawer body equipped with the seasoning case can be locked in such a position as to open for the depth of the seasoning case, with the drawer body drawn out, cooking can be conducted on a hot plate using seasonings, and at this time, the path of flow of a work extending from the hot plate portion to a sink cabinet will not be hindered.
