Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of mold by lessening the bulk of garbage by pulverizing and drying the garbage. SOLUTION: A garbage housing container 2 is internally provided with a stationary blade 4 and a rotary blade 5 and the garbage is pulverized and agitated by the rotation of the rotary blade 5. An agitating fan 12 and a heater 8 are disposed above the garbage housing container 2 to supply hot air to the garbage under pulverization and agitation. The hot air goes round down to the inside of the garbage to efficiently dry the garbage. The steam generated from the garbage is condensed in a condensing section 11 on the outer side of a thermally insulating container 1 and the condensate is pooled in a condensate container 20. The air containing the odorous components discharged from the condensing section 11 is deodorized by a deodorizer 21.
