Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treating system by which removing work of excess sludge is unnecessary and fine garbage generated by pulverizing garbage and the excess sludge can be effectively utilized. SOLUTION: The garbage treating system is provided with a garbage pulverizing means 1 for pulverizing the garbage charged together with proper quantity of water, a storage tank 3 for receiving and storing pulverized garbage drainage, a separating and drying tank 5 which separates and catches fine solid matter from solid-containing drainage containing much fine solids among the pulverized garbage drainage, returns residual drainage to the storage tank 3 and further dries the separated and caught fine solids an activated sludge treatment tank 14 which subjects liquid drainage substantially containing no fine solid among the pulverized garbage drainage to an activated sludge treatment and returns the generated excess sludge to the storage tank.
