Abstract:
To provide a klystron capable of coping with a mass increase of a collector of a klystron body and a mass increase of an X-ray shield.SOLUTION: A klystron 10 comprises a klystron body 11, a focusing magnetic field device 12, an X-ray shield, an annular member 57, and a support member 64. The klystron body 11 comprises an electron gun unit, a high-frequency interaction unit, and a collector. The focusing magnetic field device 12 comprises a focusing coil through which the klystron body 11 is inserted and a frame body 38 holding the focusing coil. An upper-side frame part 43 including an insertion hole 46 through which the klystron body 11 is inserted is provided on an upper surface of the frame body 38. The x-ray shield covers the collector, and is installed on an upper surface of the upper-side frame part 43. The annular member 57 is fixed to a periphery of the insertion hole 46 on the upper surface of the upper-side frame part 43. The support member 64 is inserted through the annular member 57, and supports the klystron body 11 on the annular member 57.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
