Title:
KNEADING OF CONCRETE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03281206
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prepare economically a concrete with high quality using ice blocks by a method wherein a liquefied low temp. gas is injected in water to generated ice blocks as a pseudo-solid in water and the ratio of the ice blocks in water is adjusted to feed the mixture in a mixer and it is kneaded with a cement, an aggregate and other concrete materials.

CONSTITUTION: Ice blocks as a pseudo-solid, namely, ice sherbet type ice blocks formed by injecting a liquefied nitrogen gas 9 in water in a water bath 5 are sent in an ice separator 1 to separate a set amt. of water. Then, a kneading water contg. the ice sherbet type ice blocks with a specified ratio from which a set amt. of water has been separated is fed in a mixer 4 wherein it is kneaded with a cement and an aggregate respectively metered in a cement metering tank 2 and a concrete aggregate metering tank 3 to prepare a concrete. As it is unnecessary to slice large ice blocks, the manufacturing cost is low and as ice blocks as a pseudo-solid is used, it s possible to prepare a concrete with improved bleeding ratio and high quality.
