Abstract:

PURPOSE: A kneading solution for dental ceramic material preventing flow and shape collapse in terms of piling operation and condensation, making piling operation easy, contriving to shorten piling time, by adding sodium glycolate to water, purified water, an alcohol and glycerin.

CONSTITUTION: Sodium glycolate is added to one or more of water, purified water, an alcohol and glycerin to give a kneading solution. A dental ceramic material of ceramic powder of alumina type is kneaded with the kneading solution and piling is carried out by an operator such as doctor, dental technician, etc., by applying and piling on a model with a brush. Repeatedly applied pile, etc., is condensed, operation to close meshes of powder is carried out, piling is finished and the pile is removed from a mold, etc., and calcined to give an artificial tooth.

EFFECT: Strength is increased after completion of piling, water can be used for brush washing and operation can be carried out readily and at low cost. Drying is slow, a top coat is compatible with a substrate when the top coat is repeatedly applied to the substrate especially in manufacture of a great number of teeth of long span and artificial teeth are readily manufactured.
