To provide an attachment structure of a module attachment bracket capable of assuring a contraction stroke of a column tube at the time of a front collision in a knee airbag device attached to a column.
This knee airbag device is provided with a knee airbag module 14 arranged in a column cover 28, and the module attachment bracket 16 fixed in a combination switch 26 (at a part which does not influence the contraction stroke of the column tube 22), in which the knee airbag module 14 is fixed. Since the bracket 16 is arranged in the combination switch 26, the steering column 12 can be contracted within a prescribed range of the contraction stroke when a load of a prescribed value or more is input in the steering column 12 at the front collision.
