PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knee joint movement support device capable of making the movement light.SOLUTION: A knee joint movement support device of an embodiment includes an upper part mounted on a waist, a lower part mounted on a lower leg part, and a holding frame disposed outside a thigh part. The holding frame is connected to the upper part through a connection mechanism. The connection mechanism connects the holding frame to the upper part so as to expand and retract distance between the holding frame and the upper part, and allow torsion of the holding frame with respect to the upper part. The holding frame includes a rotation support mechanism, a drive mechanism, and a power transmission mechanism. The rotation support mechanism supports the lower part rotatably with respect to the holding frame in conjunction with the movement of a knee joint. The power transmission mechanism transmits the power from the drive mechanism to the rotation support mechanism.
