Abstract:

To provide a woven fabric for a knee backing, without forming loosening parts at the end of the fabric and having a good wear feeling.

This woven fabric having 1,300 to 2,000 total cover factor and 0.9 to 1.5 ratio of a lengthwise cover factor (A) to a widthwise cover factor (B), (A/B) is characterized by being treated with emboss-processing on both of the upper part end edge side and lower part end edge side of the knee backing along fabric end edge direction on being sewn up as the knee backing of a lower clothes, or having an ear texture. Provided that; the total cover factor = lengthwise cover factor + widthwise cover factor. The lengthwise cover factor = warp yarn fineness (dtex)1/2× warp yarn density (number of yarns/2.54 cm). The widthwise cover factor = weft yarn fineness (dtex)1/2× weft yarn density (number of yarns/2.54 cm).
