Abstract:
To mitigate pain generated at the time of extension of a knee joint having knee joint flexion contracture.SOLUTION: A thigh inside link 7a and a lower leg inside link 7b are rotatably coupled to each other on an inner side of a user's knee joint. An outside unit 6 is configured so that as the user's knee joint extends, a lower leg outside link 6b moves away from a thigh outside link 6a in a longer direction of the lower leg outside link 6b and the lower leg outside link 6b is drawn forward in a direction orthogonal to the longer direction of the lower leg outside link 6b relatively to the thigh outside link 6a. An inside unit 7 is configured so that as the user's knee joint extends, the lower leg inside link 7b moves away from the thigh inside link 7a in a longer direction of the lower leg inside link 7b and the lower leg inside link 7b is drawn forward in a direction orthogonal to the longer direction of the lower leg inside link 7b relatively to the thigh inside link 7a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
