PURPOSE: To enable kneeling and the return of height to be carried out in a short time by mechanically connecting in series a cylindrical spring suspension energized by a spring in the direction to raise the height to an air bellows on the kneeling side.

CONSTITUTION: An air suspension vehicle 12 is provided with a pair of right and left air bellows 18, 18' that have been arranged between an axle 14 and a frame 16, and with an air supplying means 22 for supplying air to these air bellows 18, 18' through a leveling valve 20. And a kneeling device 10 is provided with a cylindrical spring suspension 24 having a piston 24a that has been mechanically connected in series to an air bellows 18 on the kneeling side. Further, air cutoff means 28 for cutting off between the kneeling-side air bellows 18 and the leveling valve 20, and between the suspension 24 and the atmosphere respectively at the time of kneeling, and also a connecting means 30 for communicating the kneeling-side air bellows 18 with the suspension 24 are provided.
