Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ECT apparatus capable of not only collecting data for forming a tomographic image in a short time but also collecting front and rear whole body scanning data in a short time and improving the throughput.
SOLUTION: The ECT apparatus can switch three or more detectors 2, 3, 4 between the firs state that the detectors 2, 3, 4 are arranged along the sides of a polygonal shape to surround the disposing area of a subject M and the second state that the two detectors 2, 3 are arranged oppositely along the parallel lines sandwiching the disposing areas of the subject M and the residual detector 2 is retracted to the position which does not interfere with the two detectors 3, 4 arranged oppositely.
