PURPOSE: To obtain the subject knit fabric suitable as foundation, underwear, etc., by using polyurethane elastic yarn prepared from an organic polyisocyanate compound, specific polyalkylene ether diol and active hydrogen-containing compound.

CONSTITUTION: The objective knit fabric obtained by using polyurethane elastic yarn prepared from (A) an organic polyisocyanate compound, (B) a polyalkylene ether diol, composed of structural units expressed by formulas I, II and/or III and having a composition satisfying formula IV [MX (X is I, II or III) is the total number of the structural units present in the diol component of the component (B)] and 300-30000 molecular weight (C) an active hydrogen-containing compound reactive with isocyanate groups.
