Abstract:
To provide a knitted glove through which a wristwatch can be confirmed visually even when worn so as to cover the wristwatch from above; and a knitting method thereof.SOLUTION: In a knitted glove, a window 20 for visually confirming a wristwatch is formed at a position of a wrist part 15 of the knitted glove 10 where a wristwatch is covered from above; and thereby it is made possible for the wearer to confirm visually the wristwatch through the window 20 while wearing the knitted glove 10. The knitted glove 10 is knitted out of a knitting yarn with the use of a flat-knitting machine. In at least one of the palm side and the instep side of at least one of a pair of gloves, the window can be formed by continuing a narrowing which decreases the number of wales gradually over a predetermined number of courses, and then a widening which increases the number of wales gradually over a predetermined number of courses. Alternatively, the window may be formed into a slit-like window 20e, which gives an excellent heat-retaining property and is inconspicuous by being put into a closed state when not used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
