To readily attach a decorative string body in which sewing of the decorative string body to a textile product such as clothing by a sewing machine has been regarded as impossible to the textile product by sewing by a sewing machine without impairing the appearance of the decorative string body.

Ordinary organic fiber yarns are used as ground yarns 21 and 22 and a decorative string body such as a braid 11 made of a fiber is used as a pattern yarn. The ground yarns and the pattern yarn are knitted or woven into a narrow ribbon form. The braid 11 made of a fiber is inserted at an optional position in the width direction linearly in parallel in the length direction and laid and fixed between the obverse and reverse ground wefts 22. A margin for a seam is formed by a ground texture 23 composed only of the ground yarn at least at one side of the braid made 11 of a fiber.
