To provide a knit fabric produced by using a flat knitting frame, having a knitting yarn extending between two points separated in a non-horizontal direction on a base knit fabric, and developing the knitting yarn in a manner superposed to the base knit fabric.
The knit fabric 1 knitted by a flat knitting frame includes a base knit fabric 2 and a jump stitch part (jump stitches 3A-3D) extending between two points separated in a direction crossing the course direction of the knit fabric 2 and superposed to one surface of the knit fabric part 2. The knit fabric is produced by feeding a knitting yarn to form a jump stitch during the knitting of the base knit fabric and forming a locking point acting as a starting point of the jump stitch part. The starting point of the jump stitch part is fixed to the stitch of the knit fabric part. A knitting yarn is supplied to the right or left direction of a needle bed from the starting point of the jump stitch part to form a locking point acting as the end point of the jump stitch part. The end point of the jump stitch part is fixed to the stitch of the knit fabric part. The knitting of a prescribed course number of the base knit fabric part is carried out between the starting point and the end point before fixing both of the starting point and the end point are fixed to the stitch of the knit fabric part.
