To provide a device for attaching a knob with which a knob can be easily and securely attached to a member to which the knob is attached only by pushing a bolt of the knob into a buried part to be buried in the member to attach the knob.

This knob attaching device has a buried part 5 to be buried in a member 1 to which a knob is attached and a knob 25 with a bolt 27 to be inserted into a bolt insertion hole 4 of the member 1 and engaged in the buried part 5. The buried part 5 has a cylindrical main body 6 with a storing dent 15 communicating with the bolt insertion hole 4 and an engaging member 7 to be stored in the storing dent 15 and engaged with the bolt 27. The engaging member 7 has the main body 19 and a plural number of restorable screwing protrusions 20. The screwing protrusions 20 slant toward the center of the engaging member main body 19 and integrally protrude from the inner rim of the engaging member main body 19, and a bolt insertion hole 22 into which the bolt 27 of the knob 25 is inserted is formed at the tips of the screwing protrusions 20. When the bolt 27 is inserted into the bolt insertion hole 22, the tips of the screwing protrusions 20 are engaged in the groove 29 of the bolt 27.
