Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a knockdown transformer which has a large size and can be transported while its tap leads and LTC are connected to each other and fitted to a divided tank.
CONSTITUTION: In a knockdown transformer which is disassembled for transportation and reassembled for installation, a tank is composed of an upper divided tank 1 having a step or recessed section on its upper surface section and a lower divided tank 2. An on-load tap changer 10 is constituted in such a way that its upper section is protruded upward from the lower surface of the step or recessed section on the upper surface section of the tank 1 and the upper end of the upper section is made lower than the upper end face of the tank 1 and fitted to the tank 1. In addition, tap leads 8 are connected to transformer main bodies 4 and 5 in removable states and at the same time, to the tank 1 so that at least the tank 1 can be loaded on the bed of a vehicle on which the tank 1 can be loaded in a transportable height together with the on-load tap changer 10 and tap leads 8 fitted to the tank 1.
