Title:
KNOCKING CONTROL DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3205375
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To decide knocking of an internal combustion engine without being influenced by noise.
CONSTITUTION: A knocking signal (b) detected by a knock sensor 1 is enveloped and detected through a band pass filter 2 and a rectifying detecting circuit 3. The enveloped and detected signal (c) is converted into a digital signal Vp by means of an A/D converter 4a and inputted to a differentiating circuit 12. An output (d) from a differentiating circuit 12 is compared with a threshold 16 by a comparator 13. Given delay is made on an output (e) from the comparator 13 by means of a delay circuit 14 and the output is inputted to the interrupting means 15 of a microcomputer 9. The interrupting means 15 reads an output Vp from the A/D converter 4a at the rise stage of an input signal to produce a knocking value. This constitution causes the interrupting means 15 to read the output Vp in a way to prevent mixture of noise in a knocking signal even when the knocking signal is mixed in noise and decides knocking without being influenced by noise.
