PURPOSE: To start a demon procedure in a correct form by performing the frame retrieval in a form based on a lateral left priority retrieving system and understanding correctly the mutual relation between upper and lower frames to carry out the knowledge retrieval.
CONSTITUTION: A system is formed by going back to upper frames (b), (c)... from a retrieval start frame (a). A control part 10 carries out the lateral left priority retrieval and gives description onto an arrival enable frame table 11. In case a frame having a demon procedure exists during description on the table 11, the name of this frame is written on a demon owner frame name table 12. The description on the table 11 is continued until the desired value is obtained from the frame (a). When the desired value is obtained during production of the table 11, the part 10 decides an optimum demon procedure to the data on the desired value.
