Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a knuckle bracket in which the number of parts items is small, forming is easy, sufficient rigidity and strength are insured, welding is reduced, the centers of a spring guide and a suspension spring can be set on the axis of a shock absorber, and the shock absorber is unnecessary to be lengthened more than necessity.
CONSTITUTION: This knuckle bracket is constituted of a cylindrical socket 16 of optional length, a pinchedly holding part 17 of U-shaped section integrately provided on the lower part of the socket 16, and fitting holes 18, 19 provided on the pinchedly holding part 17 and opened in the lateral direction, the socket 16 and the pinchedly holding part 17 are integratedly formed out of one pipe material by press working, the lower part of a shock absorber 8 is inserted and fixed in the socket 16, and a knuckle is inserted and fixed in the pinchedly holding part 17.
