Abstract:
To provide a method of treatment and/or prevention of cardiovascular disease, rheumatoid arthritis, skin cancer, diabetes, premenstrual syndrome, and transdermal transport enhancement.
A therapeutically effective amount of krill oil and/or marine organism oil is used. A composition comprising eicosapentaenoic acid, docosahexaenoic acid, phospholipid and an antioxidant is used for preventing and/or treating these diseases. Phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylinositol, phosphatidylserine, phosphatidylethanolamine and sphingomyelin are preferably used as the phospholipid, and -tocopherol, astaxanthin and flavonoid are preferably used as the antioxidant substance.
