Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LCX communication device that can intensely radiates an electromagnetic wave only to a communication area in the vicinity of an LCX and does not wastefully radiate an electromagnetic wave outside of a target communication area while preventing an increase of a manufacturing cost without complicating manufacturing.SOLUTION: An LCX communication device for transmitting and receiving an electromagnetic wave to/from a generally planar and generally circular communication area comprises a leakage coaxial cable about which a central conductor, an insulator covering the central conductor and an outer conductor covering the outside of the insulator are formed in coaxial structure, and multiple slot parts for leakage electromagnetic field formation are formed on the outer conductor, and the outer conductor is covered with an outer sheath. The leakage coaxial cable is arranged such that its central axis is generally perpendicular to the communication area.
