Title:
OPTICALLY COUPLED ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3151370
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain stable insulation characteristics and photoconduction efficiency, and further, to make the entire thickness thinner.
CONSTITUTION: A photo-detecting element 25 whose photo-detecting face faces a light emitting element 15 mounted on a light emitting element mounting part 12a of a central lead 12 an the light emitting side, is supported by making each electrode assigned around the light emitting element to be directly adhered to photo-detecting element mounting parts 21c-23c on the tips of each lead 21-23 on the photo-detecting side. So, even when the thickness of the photo- detecting element 25 varies, the interval between the light emitting face of the light emitting element 15 and the photo-detecting face of the photo-detecting element 25 is not varied, rather constant. Further, since the photo-detecting element 25 and each lead 21-23 are electrically connected each other without using a bonding wire, the thickness of an optically coupled element becomes thinner.
