Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool an inner pipe forcedly and prevent the inconvenience by the overheat of the inner pipe by constituting the exhaust pipe of an engine by providing a prescribed space on the outer periphery of the inner pipe forming an exhaust passage and arranging an outer pipe and introducing a pressurized air to the space and discharging it.
SOLUTION: During a vehicle running, in ECU 13, it is judged whether a car speed is a prescribed car speed or less or not and at the judging time of YES an acceleration pump 1 is operated. When the cooling water temperature of an engine is 30°C or less, it is judged the engine is in a warming up state and negative pressure switch valves 4, 5 and air switch valves 2, 3 are operated in OFF state and the pressurized air of the pressurization pump 1 is supplied to a secondary air introduce pipe 12 and the secondary air is introduced to an exhaust gas. While, when a car speed is a prescribed car speed or more, an exhaust temperature is 600°C or more and a cooling water temperature is 30°C or more, respective valves 2-5 are turned ON and the pressurized air of the pressurization pump 1 is introduced into the space 24 of the exhaust pipe 22 through a conduit 31 for cooling and released from the exhaust port, to the outside after using for the cooling of the inner pipe 23 of the exhaust pipe 22.
