Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce toner scattering as much as possible.
CONSTITUTION: The developing unit develops an electrostatic latent image formed on a photoreceptor and is provided with a developing roller, a toner hopper 34, and the toner cartridge 35. The toner cartridge 35 is provided with an inner cylinder member 51 in which a first aperture 53 arranged downward in the case of being attached is formed on a peripheral surface and the inside of which toner is housed, and an outer cylinder member 52 which is relatively rotatably arranged on the external peripheral side of the member 51 and in which a second aperture 54 capable of being opposed to the aperture 53 is formed on the peripheral surface. The toner hopper 34 is provided with a cartridge attachment hole 36 for attaching the cartridge 35, an outer cylinder rotation control part 37 engaged with the engagement projection 57 of the member 52 and half rotating it, and an inner cylinder rotation inhibiting part 38 engaged with the engagement board of the member 51 and inhibiting the member 52 from rotating.
