Abstract:
Irradiation light is radiated from the side surface of a light guide plate (8) with an LED as a light source, and illumination is performed from the light emitting surface of the light guide plate. On the reverse side of the light emitting surface of the light guide plate (8), a mirror-surface member (1), which has heat conductivity and has both the surfaces mirror-finished, is disposed, and the mirror-surface member is thermally connected with the LED light source such that heat generated from the LED light source is dissipated. Furthermore, the mirror-surface member (1) reflects a part of the light radiated from the light guide plate toward the light emitting surface. A device is composed of a light emitting section (3), which includes the LED light source and the light guide plate (8), a relay section (4), and a base section (5), and the sections are rotatably connected to each other with hinges having a locking function. The circumference of the mirror-surface member (1) is provided with a light guide member (2) which illuminates, using the light radiated from the light guide plate, the direction which the mirror-surface member faces.
