Abstract:
Provided is an LED illumination device comprising an LED light source (34) and a light guiding plate (32), and serving both as an illumination appliance and as a mirror device. The LED illumination device is provided with: a light emitting unit (21) comprising at least an LED light source (34) and a light guiding plate (32); and a mirror (20) which is coupled via an upper frame (16) to a lower frame (17) including the light emitting unit (21), so as to be capable of opening and closing, such that, when in a closed position relative to the lower frame (17), the mirror faces the light emitting unit (21) and reflects downward the illumination light from the light emitting unit (21), and, on the other hand, when in an open position relative to the light emitting unit (21), the mirror serves as a mirror.
