To provide a label forming device which corrects label part misregistration for a label forming position during label sheet transfer by a stretch force by a wind-up roll even if the label sheet is thin, performs positioning with high positional precision, and forms a label with high precision by preventing wrinkles from being generated.

When a scrap sheet 41a in which a label is cut in a label forming area is wound up, the scrap sheet 41a supported by a support body of rotation on the feed-out side 35 is supported so that a feed rate of an intermediate part in a transfer perpendicular direction is more than an end in the transfer perpendicular direction, to restrict a meander feed and an outbreak of wrinkles. When the end in the transfer perpendicular direction of the label sheet is gripped to transfer it to a label forming area 23, each of grip transfer means 48 is moved to an opposite direction of a misregistration direction based on a meander direction detected by a meander direction detecting means to correct a transfer direction of the label sheet.
