To enable simultaneous sticking of a label with formation of a plastic vessel irrespective of the quality of the vessel subjected to adhesion, by a method wherein a sealant layer is constituted of linear-chain low-density polyethylene and surface treatment is applied at least to the surface of the sealant layer which is subjected to the adhesion.
A sealant layer of a label is formed of linear-chain low-density polyethylene and surface treatment is applied at least to the surface of the sealant layer to be subjected to adhesion. As for the linear-chain low-density polyethylene, linear-chain low-density polyethylene synthesized by such a catalyst of a single site series as represented by a metallocene catalyst, for instance, is used. Accordingly, an oxide layer is formed on the surface of a linear-chain low-density polyethylene film in the case when the surface thereof is subjected to corona discharge treatment or by exposing it to ozone gas under the condition of high-temperature melting. An oxide of this oxide layer or an active oxidation seed acts effectively and a large strength of adhesion to a plastic vessel is obtained. Thereby the label can be stuck simultaneously with formation of the vessel.
