To prevent a condition of a label zone continuous with another zone even when a cut start point and a cut end point are deflected from each other in cutting a sheet along a closed curve to manufacture a label.
An expected crossing point on a closed curve is obtained (S4), and two terminal vectors connected to the expected crossing point through a line without crossing the closed curve are set outside a label zone (S5-S8). Address data is renewed to form a cut locus crossing at the expected crossing point from an end point (start point) of one terminal vector through the line without crossing the closed curve and the closed curve to an end point (end point) of the other terminal vector (S9). A cutter is driven in accordance with the renewed address data.
