Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label positioning device which can position not only a height position but also a circumferential position of a label with respect to a container.SOLUTION: A label positioning device includes an abutment part abutting on an upper end of a label L, and a drive mechanism which pushes the label L down by the abutment part by circularly moving the abutment part in a conveyance direction and downward. The abutment part includes a restriction member 36 which is at least partially arranged on an inner side of the label L and restricts a circumferential position of the label L by abutting on a fold groove of the label L, and an engagement member 34 which is formed of a material having larger friction coefficient than the restriction member 36 and abuts on a part of the upper end of the label L to engage with the part by friction force. The drive mechanism moves the abutment part so that a speed difference in the conveyance direction is generated between the container 100 and the abutment part during at least a part of an abutment period between the abutment part and the label L.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
