Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a label from bending when supplying the label to a sewing machine while using a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A label sewing apparatus includes: label supply devices 20 each for supplying a label L to be sewn on cloth C; a label conveyance device 40 for conveying the label supplied from each label supply device; and a sewing machine 60 for sewing the label conveyed by the label conveyance device on the cloth. The label conveyance device includes upper clamp members 411-431 and a lower clamp member 44 for clamping the label while one end part of the label is extended in a direction orthogonal to a conveyance direction. Each upper clamp member and the lower clamp member are provided with a clamp surface 441 where both are brought into surface contact with each other. The upper clamp members and the lower clamp member each have a clamp surface shaped in a curve shape or a bending line shape as viewed from the extension direction of the label.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
