Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a homogeneous silage, willingly edible by cattle and having excellent flavor, by using a specific microorganism of the genus Lactobacillus or further a microorganism of the genus Streptococcus as an effective microorganism.
CONSTITUTION: A viable microbial pharmaceutical of Lactobacillus.casei C-1631 (FERM P-9809) alone or combination thereof with a viable microbial pharmaceutical Streptococcus.lactis C-6513 (FERM P-9810) in combination as a lactio acid bacteria starter is added to a material in preparing a silage.
