Abstract:
In a fire brigade ladder with telescopic ladder sections (10,12,14,16,18,20) the bottom booms comprise two separately produced welded-together self-contained hollow rolled profile (56,58). The hollow rolled profiles form the necessary vertical and horizontal outer surfaces for the support of guide rollers and the mounting of the rungs (38,40,42,44,46,48), and also the diagonal struts (24) of the lateral railings. Moreover, the hollow rolled profiles form a guide strip (90) for the next higher ladder section. The hollow rolled profiles (56,58) are so designed that the complete structure formed by welding the hollow rolled profiles has internally diagonally arranged bracing walls for reinforcement.
