Abstract:
A simple ladder substitutable by a traffic facility for inspection such as a scaffold required in the holds of an oil tanker and a bulk carrier. The ladder is characterized in that a plurality of ladder units having at least a pair of columns and at least one step installed between these columns are connected to each other to form it in an articulated shape so as to be bent at connected portions and at least one roller leg is installed on the lower surface side of the unit ladder. In the inspection operation, a rope is also hooked to a hopper top part round bar with a rod as well as to an upper part round bar, the end of the rope is tied to the step of the ladder unit nearest the round bar hooked to a knuckle part, and the ladder is pulled up. Then, a pull rope is pulled to pull the ladder toward the knuckle part. After the ladder is pulled to the knuckle part, the rope is tied to the step of the ladder unit manually accessible from the upper side of a tank top, and when the ladder is lowered, the pull rope is released beforehand.
