Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a ladle having excellent durability for die casting aluminum by consisting the ladle of a sintered body 4 elements Si-Al-O-N formed by adding Al2O3, Y2O3 and AlN to silicon nitride as an essential component.
CONSTITUTION: The ladle for die casting aluminum is formed of a ladling part 1 for an aluminum melt and a port 2 for pouring the ladled aluminum melt into a mold. The ladle is formed of the sintered body of the 4 elements Si-Al-O- N formed by using the silicon nitride as the essential componnt and adding Al2O3, Y2O3 and AlN thereto. A metallic fixture 3 is provided to the ladle and the ladle is connected to a die casting machine body by said fixture.
