To provide a laminate clamping device which does not impose a pressurizing force to a conveyance means for conveying a laminate.

In this laminate clamping device, the laminate 50 is carried into a gap between a clamping means 1 and a receiving part 2 by the conveyance means 3, then one 50a of the sides of the laminate 50 is pressurized crosswise by the pressurizing means 1, while the other side 50b is received by the receiving part 2. Consequently, the laminate 50 is clamped crosswise and no pressurizing force is imposed to the conveyance means 3 for carrying the laminate 50 by the pressurizing means 3. Also, the method of clamping the laminate 50 is provided.
